Colorado Aromatics - Product Spotlight

A Colorado based company providing essential skin and body care products. Colorado Aromatics grow and cultivate their own plant-based ingredients and have recently become Certified Naturally Grown. Colorado Aromatics grow a large variety of herbs and vegetables including lavender, mint, cucumber, lemon balm, rose, raspberry leaf, and comfrey to distill for aromatic waters and to make various extracts that they then use in their own Colorado Aromatics Skin Care products.

I think most would agree that facial products are a very personal choice of purchase and there are so many skin factors that play a part when choosing your own facial products. When Dr. Cindy Jones of Colorado Aromatics first contacted me I wasn’t quite sure I was prepared to take on an uncontrolled field-test review for a product that was going to essentially have influence of the skin on my face. I don’t mean to sound vain or smug but your skin and your face really are one of the most intimate features and any time I test a product I insist on testing it thoroughly and efficiently. That would mean I needed to be prepared to use this product to its intent further than just a day or two of use. I would insist that I commit to using the product to near end and test on an exclusive and private level but be braced to publically share my use, review and results.

Good, bad or ugly.

Here's What I Received

Day One

Meadow Mist Face Cleanser- cucumber scent, small Jojoba Beads for a gentle and balanced exfoliation

Lavender Distillate- 3 pumps applied to the face

Springtide Anti-Aging Face Cream- Full fingertip amount applied

Day Two

Meadow Mist Face Cleanser

Lavender Distillate- 3 pumps applied to the face

Springtide Anti-Aging Face Cream - Full fingertip amount applied

By day 3, I was feeling a little on the oily side and decided I would further reexamine the information sent with my product. I admittedly started using my face wash system immediately and hadn’t thoroughly reviewed the documented instruction.

Within the contents of my shipment were some very informative documents allowing me to become educated and better acquainted with my new facial wash system. I took note of a very specific statement about Colorado Aromatics formula that made a lot of sense and it helped me decide how much Springtide Anti-Aging Face Cream I actually needed to use.

“ Our formulations specifically address the needs of high altitude, arid climate and windy conditions found in Colorado”

I find I don’t have to use much Springtide Anti-Aging Face Cream because my skin type is an oily t-zone and the face cleanser, distillate and mask are flawlessly hydrating.

Day Three

Meadow Mist Face Cleanser

Starbright Brightening Mask

Lavender Distillate- 3 pumps applied to the face

Springtide Anti-Aging Face Cream- minimal amount applied

Day Four

Meadow Mist Face Cleanser

Starbright Brightening Mask

Lavender Distillate- 3 pumps applied to the face

Springtide Anti-Aging Face Cream- minimal amount applied

Razz Tightening Serum- full-face coverage applied

"Colorado Aromatics, Cultivated Skin Care for Peak Performance."

Meadow Mist Face Cleanser: Cucumber scented creamy face wash with jojoba beads creating a gentle exfoliation, rinsing with a smooth and refreshing feel.

Lavender Distillate- I applied 3 pumps of the lavender distillate to receive a light mist of cool and refreshing liquid.

Springtide Anti-Aging Face Cream (Moisturizer): Creamy and hydrating with a light essential oil scent leaving your skin with a deep and lasting smoothness.

Starbright Brightening Mask: Slight tingling and cooling sensation as I left it on for 10 minutes. This mask is not a dry, crusty, flaky or harsh mask that seems to scratch or scrape the cells from your face as you rinse. This mask was very different as it rinsed smooth, silky and left my skin feeling supple and soft as I patted my face dry.

Razz Tightening Serum: light silky liquid applied after the face cream leaving a smoother more flawless facial appearance and giving your skin a tighter and longer lasting reward of deeper skin tissue rejuvenation.
