CASIO PRO TREK PRG300 | Product Spotlight | Mountain Matron
Digital Watch | Solar Powered | Resin Band | Color: White | Retail: $250
Casio was gracious to send me the NEW Casio PRO TREK PRG300 to field test this summer. The function, and capabilities of the watch make it a sound fit for the outdoor adventurist. The brand has really put focus on catering to the outdoor enthusiast by creating a timepiece advancing the ability to keep ever-changing circumstances easy to acquire and with the touch of a button.
In honor of Great Outdoors month and the Centennial of our National Parks in 2016, PRO TREK launched two new color variations with the PRG300, Triple Sensor solar powered timepiece series. The Casio PRO TREK PRG300 while built durable, with a high performance function created with the rugged outdoors in mind it is still very lightweight and hardly noticed while on your wrist. The Version 3 Triple Sensor incorporated in the Casio PRO TREK PRG300, provides powerful weather and directional information right at your fingertips.
The easy to use, easy to remember touch-programming system makes function an undemanding task. Boasting a one-touch delivery of the digital compass, barometric pressure and altitude readings while also allowing for preferred digital display options, keeps this watch personalized a slight bit further. Staying prepared and armed with current weather will allow you to make safer, faster, better decisions in the outdoors. The CASIO PRO TREK PRG300 incorporated a unique Barometric Pressure Tendency Alarm within the watch’s barometer. This alerts you in sudden changes in the pressure readings, so you are further aware of quickly approaching storms. That’s real comfort when your destination is above tree line.
