Description: The Lost Dutchman State Park is part of the Arizona State Parks system and is located 40 miles East of Phoenix, Arizona. This State Park offers hiking, camping, wildlife viewing, interpretive exhibits, gift shop, restrooms, picnic ramadas and now includes a MTB trail for those that enjoy biking. This 104-site facility offers stunning views of the Superstition Mountains and provides visitors with endless local wild-west attractions to enjoy after a great day of exploration. This park is open 365 days of year and will allure you with its majestic beauty and rich history. You can also expect to see horse riders joining you on some of the trails. The trails at Lost Dutchman appeal to all variations of hikers. Whether you’re a casual-hiker or an extreme-hiker. There’s a trail here for you.

Carry and use your map. There are several miles of trails at Lost Dutchman and many are under full exposure to the elements. Bring lots of water even in the cooler months. Lost Dutchman is also widely known for its vibrant display of wildflowers in the spring.
