The Pillow Plus- Product Spotlight

The Pillow Plus, a Missouri Company producing and retailing a pillow created for busy and on–the-go lifestyles, I have the “Indoor Comfort” pillow and this pillow is most certainly a compact, versatile, soft and easy to use pillow. The Pillow Plus has two layers to it. One is an inflatable inner layer that produces the support you require for the activity you require it for all simply based on the volume of air you give with the inflation valve. The next layer is the external layer made of fabric covering the inflatable plastic and is purposed for lightweight, soft and washable material. The fabric is breathable and provides just enough coverage for comfort but spares the extra and useless additional weight of unnecessary fabric. Both layers brought together not only provide a soft comfortable pillow it also maintains the promise of lightweight on-the-go simplicity ready to move when you are. With just a few snaps and loops placed in just the right area along with a self-contained stuff sack and carrying clip The Pillow Plus is ready to make you comfortable while going just about anywhere.

I use my Pillow Plus daily in the office and often on the weekends. Although my Pillow Plus is not the Outdoor Rec. version and was labeled Indoor Comfort, it works well for car rides, bus rides, hammocks, and long hours in an office chair. My office chair has a very wide back and I wasn't sure The Pillow Plus would have the ability to stay secured but, The Pillow Plus has just the right amount of adjustable length and I can use the included straps to position my pillow to this chair perfectly.

After I take the pillow out of its sack I lay and press flat to inflate. Once I inflate it to my personal preference and close the valve I will take the clip and stuff sack and roll the clip within the material of the stuff sack to make a small bunch in the material and tuck it away under the snaps on the back of the pillow. This keeps the clip from giving your pillow any added pressure that could puncture the inflatable layer as well as keeps the sack and clip snugly secure and out of the way. You’ll notice you still have two strips of fabric that allow you to wrap them around and snap them together for an adjustable hold on any chair, bench, pole or headrest. When you’re ready to take your Pillow Plus for its new adventure simply reverse the process and you and your Pillow Plus are ready to go.

The good folks at The Pillow Plus were kind enough to send over a red Indoor Comfort Pillow Plus for my sampling and product testing. We were introduced on Twitter and share the same enjoyment for products that are just as multi-functional as we are in our busy lifestyles whether indoors or not. I know the Mountain Matron Nation enjoys being introduced to products that make not only adventuring better but, life a little better and The Pillow Plus is one of those products. At $14.99 you deserve to have one at home and the office, but you are going to want one for the hammock too.
