Straw Propeller Gourmet Oatmeal Product Spotlight - Assorted Flavors

Straw Propeller Gourmet Foods, of Bend, Oregon a family company and the curators of some surprisingly simple ideas and ideals, developing a delightful and robust oatmeal and muesli product line. The simplicity is in their ingredients and the ease you'll have pronouncing them but the gourmet is in their flavor. See below, how Straw Propeller and these cups of oats stacked up.

I was privileged to receive a case of the entire oatmeal flavor assortment currently available and below you’ll find descriptions of a few flavors I had the pleasure of trying as well a select handful of photos for your visual delight.

Apple Crisp

Main Ingredients: Apple, Walnuts and White Choc. Chips

Other brands of oatmeal containing apple chunks have never been one I have enjoyed, but this cup of oats was surprisingly delicious, down to the last bite. The sweet and hearty mixture of oats, walnuts and white chips created the perfect blend to satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth.

{I broke all the rules and had it for dinner.}

It took a total of 4-minutes to heat the water with access to a microwave.

Banana Bread

Main Ingredients: Banana and Walnuts

With a consistently perfect blend of fruits, nuts and oats each meal was satisfying down to the very last bite. Every cup left me hunger-free and enticed to try the next flavor.

PB&J

Main Ingredients: Strawberries, Peanuts and Peanut Butter Chips

These quick, delicious, hunger-blasting cups of energy propelling oats are nothing like any other brand of oatmeal I have ever eaten and I’m still stumped on how they deliver the precise savory amount of oats needed into each and every cup.

Finding ways to make time for a fitting meal can be tricky for even the most organized individual, but having a spill resistant, on-the-go cooking capsule for each flavor makes it easy for me to get a warm cup of oats down in no time at any time.

You obviously wouldn’t want the cups with you on your next backpacking trip for the simple fact of their size. Though they’re a certain win for camping in the rig or packing up the car there is no way I’m going to carry the extra bulk, weight or trash on a long haul.

If you’re heading towards the backcountry simply throw each flavor-packed cup of oats into a reusable [ziplock] storage baggie for carrying.

Then you can pour your individual servings into a sealable camp cup with 8ozs of boiling water at mealtime.

Make sure you seal and let it stand a few minutes while the oats soften.

Straw Propeller allows you to customize each case you order to your exact preference and for me personally that’s another really nice incentive. I would prefer to have only my very favorite flavors waiting for me and with a case of 12 personally chosen cups I can do just that.

Each case of Straw Propeller Gourmet Oats will cost $39

Thank you Straw Propeller for graciously sending such a variety of amazing flavors and great assortment to Spotlight for our audience. This was one really delicious Brand Spotlight and I can’t wait to get my hands on more.
