Hiking Havasupai in 2017 | Visit Arizona | Mountain Matron
This year has brought several changes to your trip planning process for Havasupai, and we want to make sure you have all the details to make that trip a great one.
First and foremost: There is NO free day hiking. You must pay the entry fee and reserve a permit to enter the canyon.
Making those reservations and paying your fees have become much easier this year with the NEW online reservation system the Tribe quietly launched this week. Expect to pay your fees up front when making your reservation this year unlike the previous, while also noticing the fees have slightly changed. Website reservations with the Tribe start Feb 1, and can be found here.
For detailed planning once you’ve reserved your trip including the gear you need see here.
Contact the Tribe: 928-448-2180 or 928-448-2237
Reservation lines are open from 9 A.M. - 3 P.M. on Monday through Friday
